2026 Events

We are just in the final stages of dotting the i's and crossing the t's for the programme of Sacred Circle events in 2026 starting, possibly (TBC) with a trip to Zimbabwe in February for a learning exchange and experience where we will offer the death doula course and also seek to learn about death rites and culture from people for whom the ancestral traditions are not lost. March will see the return of the Bear Awakens retreat at Trefacwn in Pembrokeshire were two leading lament teachers and facilitators Tuomas Rounakari and Alexandra Derwen collaborate - and for those who have previously awakened the Bear we are also offering a Dragon Awakens retreat the weekend after. 

May sees the inaugural Ash and Seed ConFest (micro festival / conference) for death doulas and grief tenders in all forms. 

Mid summer weekend we are in SW Cork in Ireland for a a death doula gathering at the Eiri retreat centre. 

June to September will see the brilliant online Community Death Educators course run again, with an in person gathering in Devon in September. 

September will be when we have the Wales cohort of new death doulas join us on retreat and October an Irish cohort.
